The Art of Documentary & Videography

For my 30th birthday...March of 2010 I went to Miami and decided to shoot some footage. I had this idea that I wanted to get shots of me as a tour guide like the Travel Channel showing things to do in Miami to build my own hosting reel. I just went through all the video I had and managed to come up with a Documentary/Videography of my Dirty 30th celebration. I present to you "Dirty 30" written, directed and edited by me. :-) Enjoy!

The Art of Dance

I came across this video I taped of myself on Oct 17, 2009. Exactly 9 months after giving birth to my son. It had been far too long since I last danced and I wanted to get in the studio and brush up on choreography. Dance was one of my majors in college and I looked up to and admired the work of Fatima Robinson...Aaliyah's choreographer, Tina Landon...Janet Jackson's and Debbie Allen. Although I did not quite pursue becoming a choreographer upon graduating, dance is still in my heart.

The Art of a Snytch

Snytch Magazine is a new Urban print Magazine based in Atlanta. I was featured in their latest issue in the Fashion Designer Spotlight. This is my first feature in a Magazine and it's very exciting for me.

The Art of McQueen!

Alexander McQueen was a genius! His designs were more than just fashion; they were a work of ART! No other words can describe his talent. See for yourself...

Presenting Alexander McQueen at the Met.

His legacy lives on. This exhibit is a must see. Extremely dark with extravagant avant garde bodies of work. Running through July 31, 2011 "Savage Beauty" features more than 100 ensembles and 70 accessories covering his 16-year career, from the majestic to the macabre. Clothing spans from his 1992 Central St. Martins postgraduate collection based on Jack The Ripper, to the final runway collection, "Angels and Demons," presentated after his death in February 2010, and steeped in religious imagery.
